Citizen Action Party

The Citizen Action Party (Partido Acción Ciudadana, PAC) of Costa Rica is a political organization that has played a significant role in the country's political landscape since its establishment in 2000. Emerging as a response to the dissatisfaction with the traditional parties and the perceived corruption and neoliberal policies they were associated with, PAC positioned itself as a progressive alternative, advocating for social justice, environmental sustainability, and participatory democracy.
